Best antivirus?
The best antivirus measure is to install a decent OS in the first place.

After reading these posts I've switched to Avira & Malwarebytes.  Got premium keys from TPB. Look good so far.

Kaspersky Internet Security 2015.

I use that this year and it works perfectly: Antivirus, Anti rootkit, anti-spyware, anti-malwate, secure-input (to prevent keylogging) ,firewall, blocks browser scripts that are malicious, blocks fake phising sites, and other protections.

I also used AVG but for 2015 it didnt seemed that equipped as Kaspersky.

I`d also add Malwarebytes to my list, using that with Kaspersky is a good combo.

Kaspersky cant detect a few malwates but its very good agains rootkits and complex viruses. While Malwarebytes will clean the rest.

So its a good combo to use both.

Personal opinions don't matter at all. Tests have been done throughout the years.
Bitdefender Total Security 2015 is currently the best one.

Bitdefender Total Security 2015 is currently the best one.

Tests can be subjective also, or just use an average protection standard to measure it.

However i think kaspersky is good because it can detect the new threats, and especially those kinds which target bitcoin like firmwares and rootkit.
