This rig plan any good?

Looking to build my first rig. I own a 5850 and a 6570 already, so preferably don't post suggestions on GPU's, as I know 5850 is just OK for mining and 6570 is terrible (if 6570 isn't worth the electricity, though, then do tell.) I also want this to double as a gaming rig if possible.

this board you can run 4 cards, 2 on the mboard, 2 on pci-e 1x risers.  (or 5 if they are all on risers)

I'd get a slightly bigger supply like 850 or 950 watt.  So you can run 4 single chip cards if you want.

I have that board, runs 4 gpu's on 3 cards nicely.

I bought it open box for 55$ however.  I'd recommend a board with more pcie x1 slots though. 1 isn't enough for expansion.

Remember if you plan on getting bigger, you're going to kick yourself for not getting the proper equipment.

Would you rather spend 70$ on a psu that's 600W and have to buy another for an additional 70$ when the time comes?

Don't listen to these idiots.  If you want room for expansion, get another rig.  But this mobo you picked will allow you 3 cards.  I own about 6 of them.  That is a perfectly fine setup EXCEPT go 1gb or less ram and you can get a 40gb hdd from eBay used for like 5 bucks.  You do not need 120gb.  The PSU you are getting will allow you to power at least three 5850s overclocked pretty high.

And whoever told you 5850 is just "okay" for mining, they are stupid like most the people on this forum.  That is a top 3 BEST CARD you can get for energy efficiency and hash rate.  I own about 40 of them.  Hate any other card besides 5970 and 7970.

And I would seriously not recommend gaming with the rig.  Just let it mine and earn you money.  Gaming is harder on GPUs than mining.  But this is coming from a person who mines for a living, not just for fun.
