Hi miners,

I need some photos of mining rigs/mining setups for my thesis on bitcoin mining, and instead of taking pictures off the internet I think it would be pretty cool to give the community the option to have pictures of their rigs/equipment being used with full credit given to these people and to be part of the reference list in the thesis.

If you are interested please post something in this thread.

I need the following:

GPU mining rig (where you can see the GPU cards).  Ideally I would like one with more than one GPU.
FPGA device.
ASIC farm (already have a single ASIC device).
Cloud mining setup (just a cabinet is fine).

I would need to give me permission to use the photo, as well as using your username of this forum (your real name would be better, but understand this being problematic for some), and a title of the picture (which needs to describe what the photo is on), and the year the photo was taken.

example of what a reference will look like:

Picture taken by me using my forum name, taken this year, of a Rockminer R-Box, would read something like this:

CliveK (2014) Rockminer R-Box [photograph]. In: Bitcoin Forum [online]. Available from: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=post;board=14.0 [Accessed 31 August 2014].

And when referring to the picture in my thesis, I would have to say something like:

The photograph below is an example of an ASIC miner, the Rockminer R-Box (CliveK, 2014).

Your help would be appreciated, and feel this is more real than some arb picture taken off flickr etc.

CK

You have 306 pages of mining pron you can dig through right here:

It might be easier if you found the ones you liked and PM the authors of those posts.

I'm happy for you to use the images of our solar powered farm in your thesis as long as images are watermarked with my BTCTalk user name and properly credited
