I am going to be starting a coin.  I have plans for the coin in the near future and I need some premined, what is a reasonable amount to premine for bounties, pay for coding, ect.

I would say the maximum that is acceptable to premise is < 5%

The lower the better . I think 3-5% would be fine.

0% is perfectly acceptable. Anything else is doomed from the start :\

I doubt anyone will accept a small percentage of your coin if you plan to get someone else to code and create the coin for you.

The less the better actually. Although I'm not touching any IPO or premined coins even if it is 0.1% premine.
I'd say 1-3% is acceptable for most.

the coding of the coin will be by me, was talking about for a little bit later.  My thought is to do a no frills basic scrypt coin that will be the basis for the currency of the webgame I am developing (round based, round runs for 7 to 10 days and half of what is spent goes into the jackpot for the winner)  Which is why I need a little bit of it premined so I can set a "minimum" jackpot and run the game for a few rounds with the jackpot.  Then the community can decide how much the jackpot is worth by trading the coins around on exchanges.

Should be doing an announcement here in a few days about it.
