Thanks for doing this! For the lazy among us, I will put the information into short bullet points: Johnny Xcash fucked up with the code, x11Joe has to reorganize it but has no priority. Don't expect any profits in the coming months. Johnny: you and your group screwed this big, I am aware that your group had about 60-70% of all coins but no btc to pump or pay devs. You are a bunch of amateurs, go play Lego instead of other peoples money No, the code base was already in existence. Xcash inherits base classes and functions of original bitcoin code base. This is what is being re-written. Where they fucked up was claiming that xmarket could be delivered using the existing code base. I think x11joe should attempt to rebuild it. I have a shit load of these coins, well over 100K. Do these get replaced?

Thanks for doing this! For the lazy among us, I will put the information into short bullet points: Minor problems: - Testing takes a lot of time: Compiling with QT is becoming increasingly hard/impossible, especially on Mac.
- Codebase is messed up: The code is a combination of several things making it hard to use and improve on it. This makes it hard to do the (database) things that are needed for the market
- Documentation: Normally when you improve on code, there is some documentation on the earlier written code to give some guidance. Here is none
Major problems: - Blockchain too big over time: Over time the ledgers of will become too big to handle for users and for the market.
- Ledger insufficient for xMarket: the current ledger is probably not capable of handling what the market requires.
Proposed solutions : - Rewrite Source: Write new source in something like XOJO that will make it easier to compile the code.
- New database: Use the database of XOJO calles SQlite
- Document code well: This will make it easier for developers that join to add to the code.
- Fixed ledger:Only use the history of a certain range of the last blocks to speed it up.
What now?x11joe is in control of the code so can start to work on it from March and the community can buy into it with xCASH. This will be a more realistic long-term project of which it unclear how long it will take. x11joe if u are reading this check out jl777's work with ramchains

It is indeed the plan to switch over the old coins to the new coin, once the new code base is released. How this will happen is not clear yet.

2 reasons, 1.) I first need to make the plan and diagram it all out and post it here to get thoughts, this will take me some time to create. The plan would include technical diagrams of how I plan to handle the security, which block chain method to use (proof of work, stake or something else entirely), things of this nature. 2.) The other reason is for personal reasons related to a business I'm running which currently pays the bills. I plan to be done with the software side of my business by near the end of February at which point I will have a lot of time to work full-time on this coin. I'm actually excited to be coding a new coin from scratch to do this. Should be interesting , but I don't want to promise something unless I can actually start to deliver, so that is why I'm saying March.

Guys just checking in.
There will be a mobile (staking wallet) coming in the next couple of weeks alongside a new roadmap, after that I'll be handing over the main part of the project entirely to x11joe. i.e I will be stepping down as lead developer of this project and x11joe will take that role.
His vision for where xCash can go is greater than the one I started with and he want's to do something that is outside my realm of experience (making an entirely new codebase). Considering everything that I have done for this coin so far and because of the market conditions it does not feel correct to continue down the same path for little to no results.
The tech needed to make xCash into something special is more than I thought and it's also more than I can contribute at this time.
Therefore, it's probably best to allow somebody else to move forward in an entirely new direction so xCash does not get stuck in a rut to the point it simply dies.
I will still be on the team am making way for somebody else to take the coin in a new / fresh direction.
I hope everybody is ok with the decision to try something radical in an effort to breath some much needed life into xCash.

ok, well at least now we actually know something
the question is, will x11joe continue the project ?
i have no doubt he's capable, but does he have the time, energy, willpower to take this to the finish line ? or will he change his mind and go back and finish onemarket at cloak ?
( which would be a lot less work than starting from scratch with xcash....wouldn't it ? )
i think it's a fair question.....not trying to be a smartass.
thanks

He has the intention to do so, but has to finish some other things this month first.

What did you smoke today? Johnny and his Cloak friends were not able to pump this because they used all their btc to get as many xcash as possible, leaving nothing to pump it. Furtheron X11 stated that Johnny screwed up the development.... Welkome to the team? He is in this great team for a long time already..... It went public in December So....what's the good thing here?

Sorry its hard for me to respond on here daily because I've been busy with my project/business this month, but I do intend to move forward like I said around March when things calm down. As I said earlier I don't want to commit to something until I'm 100% ready, and that will be march where I'll be giving weekly updates of progress.
Anyone who is interested in developing this new coin with me from scratch please PM me. I will need all the objective/advice/help I can get as I put together the plan. This is a long term project. I'll be able to estimate a timeline to it once I finish the diagram/plan.
lab rat hoax --> I won't finish OneMarket at cloak for the same reason I can't do it on xCash right now, the code base is flawed in my opinion for what is necessary long term (for xMarket anyways and the ledger issue).

I have been in contact with x11joe for a longer time now and believe if somebody is able to do this, it is him!

Just wanted to update on my situation. I'm still coding some loose ends for my business, but none the less I'm going to start working on the plan for this new code base. My goal is simplicity while still being secure. I'm not sure when I'll get done with the diagrams but as I go from topic to topic involving how to put this together I'll post here. There should be at least some kind of weekly activity from me at this point. Expect just diagrams and planning this month.
