I am looking for about 25 Beta Testers for my newly launched SkillGameBets.com website, that allows you bet against family, friends, and other people on games of skill such as chess, scrabble, Pool/Snooker, Tic Tac Toe, and more.

I was initially going to offer Bitcoins exclusively as the website currency, but it was proving quite a mission implementing Bitcoin as a payment processor, that I put it on hold till further notice. So for now, only real US Dollar payments can be used.

But I still need to go ahead with the project, so given that I will still be including Bitcoin as a method of payment, I thought how appropriate it would be to bring this service to this community.

FREE 25 Demo Dollars to First 25 People

As this is a Beta launch, if after visiting the site and the idea interests you, kindly reply to this thread and leave your username on the website and I will credit your account with free 25 Demo Dollars to use to take the website for a spin.

Being Demo Dollars, and NOT real money, you can't expect to bank any winnings.

Lastly, please also feel free to come back here to give your thoughts and suggest improvements, and find flaws (of which there will be quite a few).

Thanks,

@omahapoker. @izanagi.  @KIRAZ. @Wusolini. Thanks all. your accounts have been credited. Please note, the most important thing to do first is to click the "How to Bet" link to see a short picture tutorial of how it works.

What about SSL?

Not sure what SSL you refer to? I only know SSL to mean Secure Sockets Layer.

Please enlighten me if you mean this SSL to be a skill based game.

thanks.

@noel57, I can't seem to find a user by that username. Did receive the sign up confirmation email? Click on the link in it?

If you can please recheck the username you used to sign up with.

Thanks.

Oh, ok. Thanks rz20.

Yeah, Chances are I will be adding this after Beta, but as things stand, the places where sensitive information goes through have https. Plus, the very nature of the site means an SSL might not even be needed. But, that's by the way.
