Some news: I've been told that China Post is experiencing major congestion right now, which would explain why it takes so long to restock lasers. Several shipments lately have used 5-6 weeks from Asia to me. I'm sorry, but I can't do anything other than saying that I'm trying my best to keep lasers stocked. Also, as written on our twitter: BitLasers will be participating in Bitcoin Friday, a bitcoin community-wide sale on November 9th. If you are considering buying a laser, this would be the time. The details of the sale will be revealed later.

Unfortunately not, I have no idea what's going on with these ridiculous shipping times. I'm just hoping it will arrive before bitcoin friday.

No thanks, not really interested in any of those things unfortunately Maybe if there's something I'd really like, but I find trading in general kind of a hassle

We are getting stun guns and crossbows soon how about something like that? I would ship out first as you are the established forum member here. I will be putting items up in the marketplace here soon as they come in.

I'll take a closer look once you post the items in the marketplace Bitcoin friday is fast approaching and we may not be able to get most items back in stock.. Which really sucks, obviously. But the discount will obviously still apply for preorders. We are slowly but surely receiving parts, I hope that we will have most diode lasers in stock within a week, and green lasers within two weeks. Scratch that, it seems the greens will be in stock in time for friday A new green laser is also arriving, 150mW. And I'm working on improving the kit to provide better heatsinking. In other news, we have changed advertising solution, because I was pretty much scammed by bitcoinadvertising.com. If you are interested in advertising on bitlasers, check out Operation Fabulous.

Why are your lasers so cheap compared to WickedLasers or other webshops? Is this about the quality?

Why are your lasers so cheap compared to WickedLasers or other webshops? Is this about the quality?
A lot of laser vendors are very overpriced, including Wickedlasers. Their markup is something like 500%, maybe even higher. And their quality are not superb either, they are actually pretty infamous in the laser community. Some expensive laser companies have good reasons to be expensive though, like top-notch quality and bleeding edge R&D. There are many shops that sell lasers as cheap as me, maybe even cheaper, my prices are not really that low. I do have the advantage of not buying assembled lasers and reselling them, I build them from parts, which is cheaper. Therefore I mostly charge for labour, not materials. And this is a hobby for me, so I don't really mind working for a low hourly wage. Also, since this is a tiny hobby-based shop, I don't have to bother with taxes and paperwork which would bring the cost up quite a bit. It's not really about the quality (at least in my opinion ), I've never has a customer complain about quality as of yet. And if the lasers do break or something, I offer a little warranty, and repair-service for cost of parts only, if the warranty has expired. Great! I'll be ordering Sound good!

Glad you all like your lasers! Its a lot of god damn fun standing on my balcony at night pretending I have a light sabre that is 1km long. making pew pew noises and such. Not trying to be a buzzkill, but be careful, don't hit any airplanes in the sky or anything. Update: It shouldn't be more than a few days before most every laser is in stock (for the first time in a long time)

I don't believe it will be popular enough to justify putting on the website, but maybe I'm wrong, who knows. Either way, as said before I can do custom builds on demand.
