Thx for the feedback. Changed to a 'better' sail and added a little shine.

Or without shine

Also the full monochrome version.

Wow, I was going to give this a shot, but seeing the excellent designs already I'll have to concede.

Impressive work!

psy:

I know I speak against myself but I really liked your clean white logo with the binary circle spelling out pirate. That is about as subtle a hint as one can give and exactly in the spirit of a digital currency.  I noticed that the binary script makes a cool flicker when I scroll on my laptop.

So how about making it a GIF animation that occasionally gives off that cool digital flicker like this?

I alternately erase the even and the odd rows of the binary script to create the flicker effect.

The flicker appears after 10 seconds. I did not want to make it annoying or too obvious. But its a cool surprise effect when you think you are looking at a static image and it suddenly, when you see motion from the corner of your eye and you wonder: what was that? And you look again and then you notice..

Awesome idea, JohnBigheart, really awesome.

BTW, it wasn't me who made the logo. It was a friend of mine. She already read what you wrote and shares my opinion also that it's really an awesome idea. In fact she read your reply even before I did Smiley
