Yes , its their fault. The bitcoin paid should be held in multi-sig escrow and be returned if they fail to deliver as promised.

The dishonesty extends beyond idiots who cannot do math when figuring the rise in difficulty. What is wrong with raising your standards as to what we should expect from a merchant?
