Most wallets I've looked at don't work in Chrome OS. Coinbase might be the only choice and that's not a lot of people's favorite.

There is not one to my knowledge.

Your best bet is to use some kind of web wallet. The only way to do this without giving up control of your private keys would be blockchain.info's wallet. Their wallet is my personal favorite anyway because of their coin control (with custom send you can control exactly which addresses your bitcoin are sent from and which change wallet will be used.

I know absolutely nothing about Chrome OS... but would any "app" on the Chrome Web Store work? If so, you could use GreenAddress.it (app is here). It's a web wallet, about which you might (rightfully) have reservations, but it's one of the better ones IMHO.

You best option is probably not buying a chromebook if it is going to be you only computer.

I am not very comfortable with greenaddress. I think the concept is too complicated for most users to understand how it works, which would likely lead to the lost of many people's funds. Also there is essentially a limit as to how how long you can keep your funds in your wallet.

I agree with the person above that it is not good to have a chromebook as your only computer. It is similar to a "light" client in that is is missing a lot of features that a "real" computer can do.

Thanks all for advise.

No, it's meant to be additional one (+just wanted to try something other than windows), although I'd like to have all the features that I need on it.
Was never much into online wallets, using multibit since day 1, but may give a blockchain.info a try.

Web wallets. I wouldn't recommend any extensions, as could contain spyware.
You may be able to use SSH into another machine which contains a bitcoin  wallet. (or simply use paper wallet)
