Bitcoin rewards the earliest investors. So keep the rich people out of Bitcoin. Bitcoin is still a baby. Let's raise it well, let's raise it humbly, and once the underdogs band together, we will create something truly beautiful.

It won't matter how many people accept bitcoin. The real adoption begins when people start getting paid in bitcoin -and- buy things with bitcoin. People should really be pushing for this instead of Amazon, eBay, or countries to accept it...

if it's going to the moon, doesn't that imply that it's something more than just a global strategy?

Bitcoin is merely a speculating tool now.
It will stay on earth without the support from local goverment.

Yes. Getting paid in bitcoin would be great. If people can push freelance websites like Elance, Odesk and freelancer.com to pay in btc it could bring thousands even million more people in bitcoin world.

This is correct. It doens't technically matter how many companies accept bitcoin, it matter how many people use bitcoin for commerce (although more merchants accepting bitcoin will certainly help to get more people to use bitcoin).

I think the thing that really matters is people can accept it, and use it in our daily life, acceptance of big companies can be the first step!

Government's support is critical to the success of BTC. It needs to little regulations to make sure the BTC related start up company and merchants, who accept BTC payment, accomply with the law.

Bitcoin to the moon, you say?

Remember Aaron Swartz, a 26 year old computer scientist who died defending the free flow of information.

Let's hope it will go to the moon for sure, but the charts are saying we are going under the Earth.

Good initiatives, but for this to work we need support from big companies like ebay and amazon.

this has been discussed to death.

bitcoin to the moon a global strategy? the only thing that needs to happen is to get normal people to use it.

everyone is focusing wayyy too much on companies lately. enough big major huge whatever companies accept it.

WE NEED MORE regular Joe Smiths to use bitcoin

wanna know how you can help spread the effort? leave random notes somewhere talking about btc. put btc business cards on the posterboards that some stores have for contractors and whatever and have it talk about how they can reduce their transaction costs and save money.

print up like 100 fliers and go around random neighborhoods where there is the most traffic/pedestrians walking by and staple something up in large font so they read it. people read signs and this is all very very cheap to do.

the worst thing you could do is come on here and talk to more bitcoiners about how we need to talk about bitcoin adoption more.

Pretty much summarized everything. Unless people start getting paid in form of bitcoins, it won't be a grand success. The current bitcoin users are mainly the ones which have better knowledge of computers.
