Hi,everyone!

Two days ago I send XMR to bter.com
i copy and paste the command line to my simple wallet ,but forgot include the "payment ID"

Transaction ID  is " dd9179aae7655f9f2963fa3cedf9cb6a952be17c7ae2d1ee127d9102047e58b4 "

I search in the monerochain explorer return "Transaction not found"

but the Transaction ID can be found in block "cd96ae7fd830d8b4e86184994ba6423fd9df6b6873cbd06d32d104c1dcac6f9e"

I contact the staff of bter.com but they deny that they had received the XMR . The reason is "the Transaction can not be found on monerochain explorer"

My walllet return that
2014-Sep-01 00:52:05.589673 Transaction successfully sent. <<dd9179aae7655f9f2963fa3cedf9cb6a952be17c7ae2d1ee127d9102047e58b4>>

I refresh my wallet in these two days The 43.9 XMR just got disappeared!

Can anyone help me out? Thanks a lot!

The monerochain site is messed up, try a different explorer, like this one:

http://chainradar.com/xmr/transaction/dd9179aae7655f9f2963fa3cedf9cb6a952be17c7ae2d1ee127d9102047e58b4

I had more trouble taking coins OUT of bter. They did eventually fix it though.

I'm pretty sure I solved the problem a post or two back though. Broken block explorer.

Was the broken block explorer out of sync or on a fork?

Unlikely, as that doesn't really fit the timeline of the OP ("two days ago" from September 3).

It certainly doesn't explain why his transaction still doesn't show up on that block explorer now.

EDIT: looking at the block in chainradar, it is from August 31. There was no issue at all of forking or sync problems at that time.

The CN coins are a total fail in terms of security of transfer...
So you are trading "criminal level anon" for "coins are gonna disappear on you for sure".

As a pro trader on the CFE, NYSE and > 10 crypto exchanges...
I've made > 1000 coin transfers in the last several months of maybe 40-50 different coins...
And the ONLY coins I've lost are XMR command line, BBR thru their GUI client, and other obscure CN coins...
And extremepool that never sent me my precious MountCoins (probably lost like the others).

Your average shitcoin cloned in 48 hours is more reliable to transfer than XMR.

So I would not recommend an average person mess with CryptoNotes...
Though I still trade XMR waiting for one last death rattle from the McRisto Pump Mothership...
(A custom Space Yacht that channels the sun's energy directly an exchange dishes searching the sky...
And also squeezes your lemon till the juice runs down your leg reminiscent of the Silver Boom of 1759)...
But just keep enough coins on the exchanges to scalp.

People take money VERY seriously and security is of utmost importance...
It's actually shocking that this is September and the Monero Group has simply ignored usability...
Like it's 2012 or something.

Oh wait... they are working on a "revolutionary wallet" like it's 2013 or something.
