Which Bitcoin payment provider do you suggest?

Hello guys,

I manage an online store for european customers and we are currently evaluating accepting BTC (and alts?) as payment. However, from time to time we have to refund large batches of customers at once. Currently we just use the refund options of i.e. Paypal or bank transfer.

As we need the BTC instantly transfered into EUR, we can't just send the coins back. Between payment and refund there may be a couple of weeks. So the payment provider needs to have the option to:

a) Accept 100€ in BTC (say 0.2 BTC) and paying out 100€ (minus a little fee) on the next day
b) Accept these 100€ months later and send them back to the customer in BTC (say 0.1 BTC) to either an external or service internal wallet


Nearly every BTC payment provider provides option a) but I never saw information regarding option b).


Can you suggest one?

Ok, I try again:

With Bitpay you can accept BTC from your customers and get payed out in fiat. That's fine and exactly what we need.
Additionally we need the option to send refunds to the customers.

Say the customers pays us today 100$ worth of Bitcoin (~0.2) we want to be able to pay him this 100$ back later at the current BTC price.

That's because we are selling tickets for concerts and the presale begins months before the concert. In case the appointment gets canceled we need the opportunity to send all the money back to the customers - preferable in BTC to whom paid in BTC originaly.

Question: is there any Bitcoin payment provider with this refund option?

The two major players in this field are coinbase and bitpay. I have not had any experience using bitcoin with a merchant that used bitpay, however the coinbase purchasing experience was very smooth and easy for an "average" person to use.

Bitpay is very easy to use.

You just need to set a clear refund policy.  If you are immediately selling the bitcoin for EUR then you need to have a refund policy that says you will refund the current EUR value of BTC at the time of refund (this is a reasonable policy and most people will understand).

So if you customer paid 100EUR worth of BTC,  you purchase 100EUR worth and BTC and refund it.  The BTC amount will not be the same; but if you make this clear in the refund policy the customer should have no complaints.
