When we started our site we feared that the gambling scene may be overcrowded.
I believe that if you offer a nice game and good odds for your players there is still space for newcomers.

The Crypto Betting Index makes me think the Bitcoin Gambling market has started eating at lot more of the fiat gambling market than is reported.

Interesting link - http://cryptobettingindex.com/

I think Satoshi Dice is at over 2 Billion USD equivalent in Bitcoins bet since it launched (of course at todays price).

If it is, what will the government do if they can prove that a certain gambling site is based in the US?

Not sure if this is the case.  So many gambling sites might be inflating the situation.

Because it can just as easily go unchecked..any business owner in the states or other country can just register the site to a different user living in a region where they don't have to pay tax and then run it. Tax evasion and many other things can arise from online gambling.
