Who do I talk to about restoring access to my account, "ImportDirect" ?  I was an idiot- changed my password for Bitcoin Fog, and now I must be getting some small detail of the new password wrong.

I can supply the previous password, something REALLY close to the new password, and any other identity-confirming info (if any?)

In that case I apologize for the wrong report and this should be in service discussion.


Clicking the "forgot pass" link (if available) is still the way to go IMHO. If that does no help contact support. Nothing anyone here can do.

THANK YOU TO ALL! Yes, indeed, "hilarousandco:" I have lost access to my Bitcoin Fog account due to creating too many variations on the password before settling on what I wanted.  Now, I know I'm really CLOSE to the new password, but alas, not 100%...

What is "meta?"  :-)  Newbie here sorry...

EDIT: The aforementioned posts are from months ago...there must have been some unexplained downtime, or something, because I have never heard of anyone losing BTC "through the Fog."  I guess this (my present issue) will serve as a present-day test eval of said claim...

This forum has been so helpful and incredibly punctual with responses, particularly to a first-time poster. 

I'm still trying to work on figuring out what the HELL (exactly) I changed my Bitcoin Fog password to- in other words, symbols in place of letters, or capital letters, etc...

Is there someone that I should contact directly re: my issue?

Hi there- SORRY about the delayed response...I feel badly because 'you guys' have been so quick to offer assistance, but everytime I attempted to log in to this forum over the past few days, it'd say "error, try again in 45sec."

There is a (hyper)link to a public PGP key on the Bitcoin Fog site, but no contact info.  Next to the link for the PGP key is a link to this forum (bitcointalk.org), and that's it...

I am hoping I don't end up losing what I have "in the Fog" because I see what you mean about the (Bitcoin Fog) site admin.  Undecided

You need to make sure you wait the full 45 seconds before you try log in again.

I think there appears to be some level of disconnect. From what I can tell, the OP is able to log into his forum account just fine. He is trying to access his bitcoinfog account to which he recently changed his password, but is not 100% sure what he changed it to.

Yes, the previous poster is correct...I changed my BTC Fog PW and now cannot login...was hoping (STILL AM) there would be some way to reset. 

Although you (forum members) have been very helpful, the fact remains that I can't access my Fog account   How long are the funds credited to your Bitcoin Fog account remain there (or is there a time-frame/limit at all?)?
