Hello! **************** Please note: This thread is a continuation of the former Bitcoin Lottery thread. The name was not really appropriate and I would like to phase out the other thread now and do it all here. **************** Thank you for all the good ideas and PM's! I have implemented most of the ideas and I hope it is even better, fairer and a little nicer to have! Incidentally, the name was changed because "lottery" was not quite fit. Current state of affairs: New URL: http://betcoin.euChance of winning: 50% Payout Class 1: 160% Payout Class 2: 200% Rolling Range: 1-500 (1-499 in the mini-test mode at 0.01 btc bets) Every even number wins , every odd number loses. New Jackpot Payout: 99% (previously 90%, the missing percentage is used to calculate the Transaction Fee. I think it will be lower than 1%, but it's better to be safe and the transctions went through.) Please use this thread for project related ideas and feedback. Greetings!

Might give it a shot! I'm pretty impressed with your lottery! Congrats. And, you probably should put your gambling posts in the gambling section!

Have had a few bets - loving the game. Shame you didn't do a smaller jackpot for rolling a 1, I would have won, lol.

I'm fully engaged in this game now. It looks simple initially, but there's a couple of levels to it.
The expected payout looks like it's just the sum of the payouts multiplied by the odds ($bet * 1.6 * 0.4) + ($bet * 2.0 *0.1) + ( $jackpot * 0.002)
so the optimal bet would be 0.1 and the the expected payout goes positive ( i.e. greater 0.1005 ) when
(0.1 * 1.6 * 0.4) + (0.1 * 2.0 *0.1) + jackpot*0.002 > 0.1005 jackpot > (0.1005 -(0.1 * 1.6 * 0.4) + (0.1 * 2.0 *0.1) )/0.002 ( /.99) jackpot > 8.33
The real game play comes in with bet timing vs. other players, especially in relation to the blockchain. You want to get the first turn while the jackpot is high, but choosing how many turns to take is also a function of how big the jackpot is.

Nice site!
I played a couple of rounds yesterday, just to try it out. I sent 10 transactions in total, but I only seem to have gotten 5 rolls?
Some of my small bets didn't make it into the blockchain right away. I could see the transaction sitting as pending on the site. I cam back a couple of hours later and still no rolls (there doesn't seem to have been any for quite a while) and no pending transactions. The transactions have all made it into the chain now.
I used the same username as here.

There has been a lot of lost transaktions lately.

Yep. I lost 0.5 btc this way. I've sent PM to DaMan, but now answer in over a week. Sorry, but I have to Disencourage everyone from using this service!
