Hey!

I was just wondering if a Enermax Maxrevo 1500W ATX12V is a good choice to power 3 x Antminer S3+ ?? Overclocked ??

That means 1 modular cable with 2 x PCIE connectors per antminer S3+ right? I see that it comes with 5 x PCI-E 2.0 6+2 PIN cables, so I assume that could overclock 5 200W miners theoretically.

If I am wrong, please make a suggestion. Perhaps I can overclock 2 and have one run normally? Or maybe I can't have 3 running on that one PSU for whatever reason? Please suggest another PSU in that case.

Thanks guys (or girls Huh)!!!

As far as I know, you need to connect 4 PCIE cables per S3+ to overclock them, but I'm not sure.

your psu technically can provide enough amps. You don't have enough plugs thou and every plug is on it's own rail so it's going to be a pita.

You would need to send each PCIe plug to a miner board.  So only 2 PCIe plugs per Antminer.  Then you should buy some molex to PCIe connectors and use them to provide a supplemental path to the board.  It's not necessary but if you're overclocking it would help lend to stability (not sure how clean the power is on that model PSU).

The EVGA SuperNOVA 1300w G2 for $160 after $30 MIR might be a better buy, but you'll need a pair of these connectors below in addition (to the ones included in the power supply) to power 3 S3's Overclocked.

If overclocking I would use 4.  You might get some with 2, hard to tell how much.   But at least 6 PCIE and i would say 1200 or more on 3 ants. (you could possibly do with around 1050-1100 but for peeks i suggest 1200 and it is for needed if overclocking)
