better to mine some altcoin, then bitcoin directly, bitcoin is buyers, alt are for miners

Someone should start mining by hand that would be awesome. I guess it takes a couple of days for a person to perform a SHA256 hash by hand, right? I guess it depends on their training, but still quite an incredible amount of time compared to a computer!

I should have gotten into Bitcoin back in 1992...

Ha! Yeah I remember that article. Loved it. I wonder how many people really fell for that! But honestly, I think it's a great thing to really experience how difficult it is to do a single SHA256 calculation by hand. Maybe even without using any technology whatsoever (apart from a sheet of paper and a pen)

I should have gotten into Bitcoin back in 1992...
