I think men always having to pay for drinks, playing pool and even dinner is fucked up. Seriously. I don't get it. If she may even make more money than you do, you are still supposed to pay? A drink is okay, and I'm not greedy at all, it's just that it shouldn't be expected. What is this, the 1960s?

I'm old fashion .  She offered to pay/split the bill all 3 times.  I said, "No, I got it".. Its the gentlemanly thing to do..  and it don't hurt your odds of jumping in the sack

Didn't mean to cause a debate on gender roles here. Just saying that it puzzles me why this is still widely the case. So I don't blame the men necessarily. I just think some women are simply taking advantage of it, requiring old fashioned "habits" which are in fact economic advantages. On the other hand,  I'm sure they won't complain when gender equality plays in their favor. Opening doors is fine, but I do it for everyone, not just for women. I open doors for men sometimes, or I don't open doors for neither at other times.

But whatever works I guess. Probably because there exists a very clear way to do it is why it still works to get to know someone easily in a bar in the US while it's much more difficult in Central Europe. People go to bars for other reasons. The dating game works different. Perhaps it's even in a crisis. (No, I have a g/f) Just my theories here. So, congratulations!

I'm not mad.  I don't think its wrong to protect and look out for women.  Its just how I do things.  If someone wants to call that chauvinist, so be it.
