I found this thread looking for a possible solution to unblock my mbank card with around 720€ on it. For me, its not worth to make a 1200km trip in order to unblock it myself in Poland. The card has only been used to sell some bitcoins and nothing else. If someone can provide a secure way to release the money I would be willing to pay 120€ for that.

I assume that there are many people with this problem so if we all chip in there could be a substantial amount of money to be made.

I hope this an be resolved soon!

I can help if the card is not registered to any name BUT the card is registered online in the bank (mbank.com.pl/prepaid)

I will just need to go to the bank branch WITH NO ID ! IF THE CARD is not registered to ANY NAME.

how was those card locked being used? Simply loaded via bank wire then were locked? Or tried withdraw at ATM machine or used for online purchase?

So, you basically registered an "anonymous" card in your name and went to a bank with your ID.

The whole idea behind these cards was avoiding just that.

That's why people bought them in the first place.

You can have a muuuuch better credit card if you show ID.

I do not registered anonymous card.

Before you buy those cards read their rules please.

Well anyway... I am not their support.

I haven't got any more answers.

All I know is - you need to register card if you want to unblock.

OR you need to wait maybe they will figure it out somehow. I dunno.

Now mBank doesn't even want to withdraw funds when You visit their branch. The fact is - They stole money and now they're getting away with it.  Please look at this post

I am sorry to hear that they did that to you .. this is crazy.

I am not sure how to help.  I cannot unblock any more cards on my ID and to find someone who will trust and will provide his ID might be hard.

I did it only because I have full trust to Pagie but I wouldn't do that for anyone else.
Anyway I cannot unblock more cards but I will try to ask my friends and maybe someone will be interested but I highly doubt because of full ID registration to the card which might be risky and dangerous.

If I will find any solution I will let you know.

I am also pretty sure that mBank will find a solution on their own soon.
Mbank is a very good bank in Poland I have mBank's account from 12 years ... they are not scam just those prepaid cards went wrong.
