Paying dividends on NxT asset exchange has been a huge hassle for many of the asset managers because the payment process is 100% manual.

That's not strictly true. Nxt does dividend payments through Nxt Services. You tell it the asset and the total to pay and it creates the transactions for you. It's not manual.

It's also being built into the core.

LOL   they are already late.. qora builds things extremely fast... nxt didnt have a stable client without forks for months..

we shouldnt be too hard on the NXT guys, they work as a team not as an individual genius, it's can't be easy for them.

Wow this area of town just got a lot cooler than NXT. ASSET TO ASSET  . This is a huge improvement over current AE's. In NXT we have to Sell An Asset->Get NXT->Buy another Asset. This just takes loads of time and NXT fees. But ASSET->ASSET->HAPPY SEAMLESS TRADING

Its a nice concept that this exchange doesn't bully you into buying a coin to use it, so I can trade anything for anything without having to buy lots of Qora just to trade.

Don't really see the big deal here, can someone enlighten me?  There are already several coins with an AE, and much nicer looking UI than this.  

Want to know too whats the big deal with Qora AE.

NXT already has a fully functional multigateway.

Plus I bet none of the up coming semi clones do asset to asset like NEM, NODE etc. They are inferior and based as we all know on NXT framework.

UI has zero to do with functionality. Never has, never will. What isn't pretty now takes some very simple modifications later to make pretty - and what works behind the scenes is the real measure of how something's valuable, insofar as software's concerned.

If you would like to run Qora without the command line window you can use the Qora.exe file.
Place this file in the V14 Qora folder and run it instead of the run.bat. (windows only)

Please download the applications from the original post and not from a quote.

• Finally completed the GUI for assets. Assets will unlock on 19 September 5PM GMT.
• Upgraded the database. You will have to delete all your data files. Once we have the application stable future updates will patch the current database.

Now that assets has been completed, making the client 100% stable will be the first priority.
Qora will also be reorganised as the current direction is not really working.

Not upgrading to this version before 19 September 5PM GMT will make your client fork.

The Asset to Asset is a unique feature that is very wanted in the NXT AE world.

It also means there is no incentive to buy this coin. The prices will remain low so is not a good investment.

Minor delay due to the bugfix:

• Assets will now be enabled at 21 September 2PM GMT.

And a quick reminder of the other features, aside from asset exchange:

• 1-5 Minute block times depending on the network activity.
• Password protected wallets that can be recovered/generated from seeds.
• New Proof-of-Stake algorithm.
• A Naming service that allows users to give a customised name to their wallet address, URL Addresses, aliases, etc.
