Ask away and I will attempt to help whoever I can, whenever I can.

You may ask anything thats on your mind related to bitcoin!

Questions previously asked and answered!

What happens if bitcoin transactions stop suddenly?

How can I double my bitcoins?

Should I bother mining on an old computer?

Top ecrow services?

Can bitcoin be given to someone like normal physical currency?

How much can I make with over 5K investment over cloud mining?

Is it profitable to mine?

What are transaction fees?

Do other cryptocurrencies depend on the bitcoin network?

How long does it take for miners to solve a block?

How do I get trust on the forum?

Will people keep mining BTC when all bitcoins (21M) have been created?

How can I make some Bitcoin in a short time?

How can I set up a secure cold storage?

Will there be enough bitcoins?

Is it possible that unconfirmed transactions can never be confirmed again?

How does cold storage work?

If you want to tip me, just ask and I'll deny politely Wink otherwise check my profile page (click my username)

Can a full member ask as well?  Wink ... a hypothetical one

What happen if there will be no transactions in the air? ... Suddenly (reasons unknown), all users stop just sending bitcoins for a while.
No new blocks? ...  or blocks without transaction or ...?

Transactions need blocks for confirmations, blocks dont need transactions. There are plenty blocks that have no transaction even recently.

Im not really here, its just your imagination.

As stated above. If TXs cease to take place, miners will continue finding blocks!

I don't think there is a versatile answer for your question.

My advices:
- Hold it (you won't get more bitcoins, but more value comparing to fiat)
- try lending, see section Bitcoin Forum > Economy > Marketplace > Lending
- invest some part in HYIP - check my signature (but its risky, as all hyips)

Quickest but riskiest way to double: gamble it.

Slow but less risky to double it: Invest it in gambling sites or websites relevant to btc.

if my computer is basically 3 years old, is it powerful enough to even try to mine, and im mean through a co-op, is there anyway i can/will make a contribution?  im not expecting any huge return on my mining efforts, but if i can add a millionth or something everyday it still seems worth it too me.

Depends. Id say a post that is helpfull should be considered constructive no matter how long / short. On the other hand I wouldnt say a bump is constructive in any case.

if my computer is basically 3 years old, is it powerful enough to even try to mine, and im mean through a co-op, is there anyway i can/will make a contribution?  im not expecting any huge return on my mining efforts, but if i can add a millionth or something everyday it still seems worth it too me.

It might seem worth it to you, but the electricity bill will convice you that it wasnt*. Your only chance with a GPU is a fresh alt coin. Which to choose though? I wouldnt know, might check the alt section out.

* If you are now thinking: Yeah, but I live with my parents or someone else that pays for electricity. Consider this: why would you use 50$ worth of electricity a month when you could buy the same amount of BTC for less? IIRC the 50$ wasnt calculated for GPU mining but for an older ASIC, so in your case the numbers will be even worse. And no, just because your computer is on anyway its not using as much electricity as it would while mining.

-snip-

My advices:
- Hold it (you won't get more bitcoins, but more value comparing to fiat)
- try lending, see section Bitcoin Forum > Economy > Marketplace > Lending
- invest some part in HYIP - check my signature (but its risky, as all hyips)

HYIPs are bullshit. No sustainble company/business can generate 4.5% revenue daily. Its just another form of ponzi and will blow sooner or later. There is this thread where someone is openly arguing that everyone wearing your signature is contributing to a scam and thus a scamer as well. Esp. if they have a ref link like you.

Im not really here, its just your imagination.

You can choose as you like, but I am replying and contributing to any and every single question asked in here! (that post was a bump specifically)

if my computer is basically 3 years old, is it powerful enough to even try to mine, and im mean through a co-op, is there anyway i can/will make a contribution?  im not expecting any huge return on my mining efforts, but if i can add a millionth or something everyday it still seems worth it too me.

You would likely make around or less than 0.00001 a day which is not worth it for the following reasons:
a) you damage your computer's graphic cards while mining especially on an old PC in this case
b) The cost of electricity to charge your PC will be much higher than 0.00001 a day

if you feel like contributing to the network: what I would suggest is becoming a bitcoin full node.

Most likely devthedev in my opinion here you go: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=708658.0

Actually a very good question! Yes it can be given in physical form either as a paper wallet (where the private key is shown) or a casascius coin where the private key is hidden under a thin membrane which can be scratched off https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=717228.0

I am pretty sure he means escrow.ms. He is the most repped escrow agent on this forum and nobody has surpassed him yet (and I highly doubt someone will, unless escrow.me goes rough and starts scamming people. ).
