MCALLEN, TEXAS — A Mexican national who crossed into the country with various types of drugs, at least seven different times, pleaded guilty to federal drug trafficking charges.
Ricardo Garza Ramirez pleaded guilty to drug conspiracy just moments before his trial was about to start before U.S. District Judge Micaela Alvarez. Garza, 55, is due back in court in November where he faces a possible life term in prison for the charge.
Court records obtained by Breitbart Texas establish federal agents were tipped off to Garza’s BMW sedan in January by a smuggler they caught with more than 30 pounds of marijuana. The smuggler said he had been driving in tandem with a Ford Escort, which the agents were able to identify.
As part of their investigation, the agents learned that the Ford Escort had also been working with a BMW sedan, which the agents spotted on June 17 and stopped. Inside the vehicle the agents found more than 30 pounds of cocaine that had been hidden. Would the terrorist offer the same bribes or larger?

When I was younger we didn't have behavioural disorders. They called it "being a brat". It was as simple as that!

So a smuggler ratted out a fellow smuggler? Things are not going to end well for him.
I don't see anything about bribes? Seems like border patrol missed him everytime he crossed the border.

This is exactly why we need to keep our boarders more secure. If a drug smugger can cross our boarder multiple times then anyone can cross our boarder as they please (assuming they have the resources). If we are to protect ourselves from terrorists (who are generally well funded and have lots of resources) then we need to make sure that people who are not authorized to enter our country do not enter our country.

The cops seem to be assuming that terrorists only fly in. Most of them will be doing that even now. There are hundreds of US citizens fighting for the ISIS in Syria and Iraq, and the CIA doesn't have information about all of them. They will just travel to Turkey, catch a flight to the US and then commit terrorist acts there. Crossing the US-Mexico border is not that easy, and you have to pay bribes to the coyotes as well.

The cops seem to be assuming that terrorists only fly in. I don't think this is the case, I think it is the fact that the Obama administration knows that immigrants overwhelmingly vote for Democrats, and Obama wants to return the favor by letting more immigrants into the country (and potentially letting a legal immigrant's family enter illegally.

Too bad the smuggler wasn't a former US marine with legally purchased guns - he would be rotting in a Mexican fiestahole right now
