Okay, I worked out a source for a more-or-less live silver spot price.  Which means I was able to finish my Perl script for getting the BTC/Ag ratio with the press of a button.

Right now the script is posting data to https://twitter.com/HollowTreexds  every 20 minutes.  The formatting might be a little rough, though.

I can output this data in all kinds of ways, comma delimited, whatever.  If anyone has any use for it, let me know.

I aim to have this thing plotting a graph at some point.  Time will tell.

This is awesome.  Unfortunately I'm hopelessly non-technical so I'd have no idea how to integrate this into an application -- I'm hoping you or others will take up this challenge though.  A graph would be wonderful by the way.

If you're interested pm me with a physical address and I'll be happy to send you a couple free bitcoin stickers for your work.  Thanks again -- it's people like you who donate their time and talents that make me confident bitcoins will be here for the long run.

I think there's really no need for 14-digit precision.

Fixed it.  Rounding to 4th place now.  Formatting still isn't optimal, though.

Also, I forgot to mention that I had the idea of moving this output to its own Twitter page.  If there's enough interest I can do that in the coming weeks.

Thank you.  This is a good project for me to improve my Perl & PHP skills so there'll be more to come.

I PMd you, but forgot to click "save to outbox" so I have no evidence that I didn't hallucinate the whole message...  Undecided
