[ANN][MAX] MaxCoin - MANDATORY UPDATE 9.2.1 - Sept 6link for windows wallet (installer)
https://github.com/Max-Coin/maxcoin/releases/download/v0.9.2.1/maxcoin-installer.exehere is info i quoted..
MaxCoin hard fork’d yesterday at block 600k prompting a deal of chaos. This was caused, in equal measure, by a large number of users and mining pools not upgrading to 0.9.2 and by a rogue checkpoint in the network, preventing users from synchronizing fully. To remedy this a fix has been issued and is available to download from the MaxCoin GitHub repository.
Download the 0.9.2.1 client
The latest client can be download from
https://github.com/Max-Coin/maxcoin/releases/tag/v0.9.2.1. Please download the version for your Operating System and install it onto your computer.
Reset the stored checkpoint
Once the new client has been installed you’ll need to remove the old, rogue checkpoint. This is done by issuing a “resetcheckpoint” RPC command. You can do this in MaxCoin-QT by navigating to Help > Debug window, clicking the Console tab and then typing the command into the text box at the bottom of the window.
You can verify that this has worked correctly by issuing a “getcheckpoint” RPC command. This should have the following
OUTPUT:
{
“synccheckpoint” : “0000000000057faf782713f21104bffcfc8cc9107df88dea399b06ffe3e0d6c4″,
“height” : 557625,
“timestamp” : 1408634353,
“subscribemode” : “enforce”
}
If your subscribemode setting is set to “advisory”, please remove the “enforcecheckpoint=0″ line from your maxcoin.conf file.
After a few minutes you should see your wallet begin to sync once more. If the problem persists, please close the wallet and re-open it with the “-resync” flag.
