Good thing i did not take part into this bs.

What happened TLDR:

Limited supply made the tokens sell in seconds.

Then the new investors who came a few minutes after were seeing these tokens being sold at higher prices since the initial ipo sell wall was gone.

Why in the world do you allow people to sell their coins while the ipo is still going on? Jl777 you need to contact bter and get these people refunded and restart your ipo. People who came in were probably not aware of the limited amount and thats unfair to som1 who doesn't want to ready 50 pages to spot that little info.

A real mess glad I stayed out.  BTER and James failed big time this will be a lot of trouble to come ...

Why was the first sell from the asset issuer 140 on the NXT exchange? Then the next was 127.

No they shouldn't move on.  They should be refunded.  You don't open an ICO with selling enabled.

make a calculation of how much extra TOKEN you would need to make it so you would end up having paid the official price
then open a ticket with bter and they will credit your acct

Yup...the price was very clearly announced in a shit-load of places: 0.01 BTC or the equivalent in NXT or BTCD with a 5% bonus, increasing by 1% per day till the end.
Then people come along 3 minutes after the IPO starts and bid twice the actual price.

I cant really see how this can be blamed on jl777. Do your due diligence and check the frigging price before you bid.
SuperNET will be available for the next 2 weeks, so it's not like you need to rush right in in the first 5 minutes.
(Unless you're planning on trying to rip off n00bs/idiots/the gullible by re-selling higher immediately)

So calm the f**k down, there is plenty of SuperNET for everyone, at the 'official' price.

nah they just stopped the Selling side by the regular traders other than BTER and James (jl777). This should have been the case since the beginning. and would have prevented the issue.

Now Bter is doing all the selling on their side following the rules that was set out to them (following btcd/nxt prices every minute resetting the price, 5% increase in token prices(which is offset by nxt/btcd prices going up), etc.).

What happened some people after a quick buck bought and then put up a sell order... (this should have been prevented)

Because there is a short time before the NEXT IPO batch is posted, and the previous batch was exhausted these secondary sell offers were the best offer and got matched.
the volume of this activity was small compared to the overall volume invested.

BTER has fixed this by preventing SELLS and this was done within the first 15minutes and BTER/SUPERNET are compensating those who got caught out.

So its fixed but I think SUPERNET have the last laugh on the people misguided to think this 'quick buck' is what SUPERNET is about...
