And if those fuckers bought now they could realise the same gains in less than 12 months from now.

They want to see it fail for one reason and one reason only: They dont have any balls and will forever see the price go up and are too scared to invest.

People always think about the money they might lose, not how much they can make. Smiley

is because they did not get into Bitcoin when it was in the pennies and missed the boat.

They want to fell superior by saying it would fail anyway, and that things that they can't understand are indeed junk that will never succed.

Think about all these people with reputation and who haven't believed in bitcoin, their ego is getting a real beating soon. I wonder if warren buffer can handle being wrong on something so important. Bitcoin is such a nice ego trap for so many people, I love it because I hate that perverse egomania.

You people have all been saying since the mtgox crash, SOON IT WILL GO HIGH UP... but guess what, it didnt and it will not. only way is down.!

It doesn't go down either so you can as well as shut up. But you don't, for some reason. I wonder why? Btw your reply to my post is a bit unrelated as I was rather talking about people and their self-importance.

People in this forum are by nature expected to be bullish.
antibitcoinconsortium- Isn't it a pain logging in with such a long id? It will be tough to change your views as well, with such a user id.

It's because people don't want to risk putting money in BTC and thus rather hope for it to not succeed - in which case they haven't missed anything. It's like not going to a party and hoping that your friends don't have fun either.

They're afraid to put FIAT into it and thus hope, that Bitcoin fails. Some also got out of Bitcoin since they're afraid there won't be a recovery anymore and now convince themselves that their decision was the right one.

I should have gotten into Bitcoin back in 1992...

Exactly -- If you actively decided that you weren't going to invest, wouldn't you prefer it didn't succeed? In that case, you would have been correct rather than missing the boat. It's the easiest position, psychologically, for someone on the sidelines to take.

Maybe because they do not have BTC in the first place.

Yes. But it's even better: they consciously decided not to put money into it because they are afraid. By betting on Bitcoin failing, you don't risk anything and still come out as the winner if it fails. Although you've won nothing in this case.

no one wants to see bitcoin 's failure unless bitcoin itself is going to fail

i mean bitcoin is dropping to the final capitulation and i am ok to watch that, i won't cover my eyes / bury my head in the sand and say it isn't happening

Everyone is here not to see bitcoin fail. Maybe there are some non believers but mostly are soli bitcoin believers.
