I have 5 rigs total for sale.

Specs for each:
MSI 890FXA-GD70 Motherboard
Athlon II X2 245 or AMD Sempron 140
2GB GSkill DDR3
850 Watt Corsair TX850 V2
4x 6870 (2 plugged direct into MB and 2 using PCI-E x16 extenders - for better airflow)

They aren't in cases, I have them sitting on a 2 shelf wire rack (maybe 2ft x 4ft) so there are 4 rigs on the shelf with fans pushing and pulling from both sides. The are all superstable.

They are all running win7 with GUIMiner 2012.02.19 and LogMeIn (haven't needed to see them in quite some time - I sporadically check on them with logmein).

Rig 1: 1.197GHs - 1,371,626 shares since GUIMiner Update
Rig 2: This doubles as my gaming machine and not for sale
Rig 3: 1.214GHs - 575,707 shares since last reboot
Rig 4: 1.196GHs - 1,369,556 shares since GUIMiner Update
Rig 5: 1.242GHs - 1,424,775 shares since GUIMiner Update (This rig has 3x 6870 and 1x 5850 - 6870s are running 299.4 Mhash and the 5850 is running at 344.4 Mhash)
Rig 6: 1.203Hs - 1,378,239 shares since GUIMiner Update

1,4,5,6 have been running non stop for much longer than the shares above. Their stats reset when I updated GUIMiner on 2/20. Rig 3 was rebooted about 3 weeks ago when I had to move some wires.  They are all very stable. Only reason I would part with them is for the rightrice and to get the wife off my ass about the heat and fan noise.

I am located in Ohio (to figure shipping cost). I have all original boxes, manuals, cd's, everything. Let me know if you (or anyone else) is interested. I am willing to take all offers into consideration.

Yikes, 6870 uses so much power!  Otherwise I would be interested.

I buy and sell GPUs, most 5850s and 7970s.

Yikes? I am pretty sure they aren't terrible on power (even according to the wiki card comparison).

My 6870's are better on power than my 5850s.

uuuggghhhhh ... 5850 is far more power efficient than 6870.

I buy and sell GPUs, most 5850s and 7970s.

Okay, so we know Miner 612 isn't interested... Anyone else? Make an offer for one or a couple.  I may let them go cheap to shut the wife up.

Yikes, 6870 uses so much power!  Otherwise I would be interested.

You're dead wrong ... in the reference design format, they're the hidden gem of the mining GPUs for both MH/$ and  MH/w and availability/reliability.  No card beats them, even the 7000 series in terms of both MH/$ and MH/w and availability.

They could be snatched up for the same price as the power hungry 5830s.  I was buying batches of 8 cards weekly @ $135 shipped in q1 2011.

Rigs with 4x 6870s set up properly get 2.3 MH/w and are easy to keep cool.  I haven't touched my Win7 rigs for over 6 months.

6870s are still you're best bang for the buck hands down.  Good luck finding a 5850 without the fans that die after a month(BTDT).

PM me if you need hosting for your FPGA or ASIC miner.  Secure, air conditioned facility... will beat competitor pricing.  Over 15 years in the hosting industry.

@quattro, how are you getting an extra gh/s out of your 4x6870 rigs over me? What kind of setup are you running.

EDIT: I misread that the same as mousepotato. I knew 600Mh/s sounded like way too much out of a 6870.

I think he was joking.  4x 6870s @ 2.3 GH/s is nearly 600 MH/s per card.

Edit: Woops, nvm. I misread MH/w as GH/s.

he never said that he said hes getting 2mh/watt so lets say a 6850 consumes 150 watts and gets 300mh/s

and 4 x 300 mh/s =1200 mhs or 1.2 gh/s just like in the description

so quit putting words in his mouth

I have a Kill-a-Watt on 2 of the rigs.

Rig 5: 1.242GHs - 1,424,775 shares since GUIMiner Update (This rig has 3x 6870 and 1x 5850 - 6870s are running 299.4 Mhash and the 5850 is running at 344.4 Mhash) 803 watts at the plug
Rig 6: 1.203Hs - 1,378,239 shares since GUIMiner Update 721 watts at the plug

I am clearly not getting the 2.3Mh/w that quattro claims is possible, but I am within the examples on the wiki.  I know I could tweak it a lot more to save a few watts here or there, but I am motivated by stability. I found something stable and stuck with it.

I'm at 525w @ the wall for all of my 4x6870 rigs, and that's with the 100% cpu bug.

$600 per rig plus shipping. That's what it costs me to build a 1.2GH rig.

Don't let anybody know what CPU, voltage/OC settings, or MH/s you're at or anything.

Maybe not new (well, not since BensOutlet.com's $140 for brand new 5870s), but anything goes on the used market.

You may be able to find the cards for $600 used, but nothing else. Regardless, I am not interested in letting them go for $600. That is half of what I paid for them and they have a lot of life left in them.

Easily can be done.  Shop harder.

I felt compulsed to throw in my .2c here and say 1.2gh/s for $440 is easy enough. 5830's are $100 each plus shipping all over the place.
