Maybe it's the lack of falllling posts that is bringing down BTC

Bitcoin isn't going down.

Merely the price.

Everything in this world has some positive and negative sides. And same applies with the Bitcoin. Even Fiat currencies are used broadly for all illegal stuffs and the fact is that they never got failed for it and same goes for the Bitcoin. It'll never die actually, it's the price which fluctuates and it's kinda normal.

It hasnt failed in its purpose.   The chain integrity is intact.   Not really a good reason to say its a fail, even mainstream press havent tried this headline (yet)

BTC has failed if you bought in December hoping to get richer ?    The counter to that is BTC is not designed to make anyone richer, its sole purpose is to transmit worth globally and securely in less then an hour, it continues to do that.
I could buy a Porsche and expect to get richer, some do this with new models.   Some of them make money, mostly its the manufacturers who make money from selling cars not the speculators.   Porsche hasnt failed because you lost money, variation in price of anything is reasonable and according to free market usually.  Considering BTC is just a mostly interlectual idea of some clever folk not copyrighted, its price even now is amazing imo

We have heard this all before. Like a million times since 2010 and bitcoin just keeps getting stronger. Why just today I read that the United Way, the worlds largest charity, is now accepting bitcoins and PayPal has a new video stating that bitcoins will be part of their plan.
I just don't know where people get the idea that you can't find places to spend bitcoin? It is the only thing I use to buy online and never fail to find what I want. And it get's easier every day.

Of course a charity is willing to take your money, in any possible currency, as long as it's worth something. That's not exactly a major achievement. I'm sure United Way would let me pay them in fur pelts, if they could turn around and exchange them for cash.

It is no different than a business taking them. Businesses that try it love it. They pay 3% and wait 1-5 days to get paid with a credit card. Using bitcoin they receive the full value and the transaction is over and done in 10-60 mins.
It is just a superior system and that is why it is becoming more powerful every day.  When I started in bitcoin you could buy very little and it required a lot of searching. Today I buy whatever I want. For example a few weeks ago I wanted a Kahr P-380 pistol. It is a somewhat hard to find gun if you have dollars. A few mins. of searching and I was able to find this shop: http://centraltexasgunworks.com/

My local gun shop handled the transfer. When I told them why I bought from Texas they said they would now take bitcoin also. It only took me about an hour to set them up and start them saving money, like their bitcoin customers. Utility is why bitcoin is gaining ground.

Bitcoin =/= bitcoin price.

Of course, when bitcoin succeed, the price will go up. The protocol is intact and ecosystem is developing. So no worries.

sometimes i wonder if poeple really are that dumb, or they just post shit like this to further push bearish sentiment so they can buy lower... its hard to believe anyone could be this stupid, so i'm gonna go with trolling to get the price lower.

Some people are just trolling for the sake of trolling or to push the price down
But if there was a future case study it would probably be the impact of governments red taping a new industry to death
(doesn't look like it will happen now as the last six months have shown Bitcoins growing adoption despite all this but still a pain to people who want to develop new companies in the industry)

I think that 3200 @btce was some short squeezing rerouted through eur market.
The same exchange this year went to trade btc at 100$. I won't call those two events neither a failure nor a success.
