I an unable to reply to this thread on the grounds that my reply might be construed as an implicit suggestion that the reader should adopt a similar course of action, which would be a clear violation of the "speculation Posting Guideline" as promulgated by the duly and lawfully appointed subforum moderator, as such silence with regard to my current bitcoin position would seem to be the most compliant course of action at this time.

This is not some pseudoeconomic post-modern Libertarian cult, it's an un-led, crowd-sourced mega startup organized around mutual self-interest where problems, whether of the theoretical or purely practical variety, are treated as temporary and, ultimately, solvable.
Censorship of e-gold was easy. Censorship of Bitcoin will be… entertaining.

You obviously didn't uderstand the rule. If this was the case there'd be no point in having a speculation forum. You can say whatever you want as long as you back your position with some reasoning other than scaring people into selling or buying just because you *think* so. A single unproved opinion isn't worthless but it's just one isolated imperical date, i.e. it is worth roughly 1/7trillionth of all opinions in the world.
Unless you want everyone else to tell you their opinions you need to drop it. Since not everone is going to be able to respond to infamatory statements that "the price goes up! buy buy buy because I can feel it in my urine" it makes sense this rule exists.

Why don't you have an option for both?  I'm short on Bitcoinica and on Gox I have been selling off a coin at a time as the price goes up.  Once we dip below $5 again I will buy back some coins and liquidate the short  Grin

Here we are below 5 again.  Bought back all the coins I sold off during the rally.  Bitcoinica short starting to get back into the green.  Didn't quite hit 8 now did we?  Grin
