Good interview.

For the credit card thing, do the credit card companies have something in their terms of service that don't allow different prices for the credit card price versus the cash price?

Yes, but they do not enforce it. It is an agreement between credit card company and vendor, it is up to them to adhere to it or tolerate. Hard to get anything out of it for a third party like a consumer.
