Now we can say that 2014 is the best year for bitcoin, we have tripled the previous ATH and the rise was really fast!
Not we can't It was nothing more then a flash rally. The price went back down within minutes and was only on the euro denominated platform. If I had to guess, someone probably tried to buy a lot of bitcoin in euros (which is less traded then bitcoin in dollars) but since the market is thin, the price spiked. Yes but trades were made. So this is all time best and probably highest price of BTC this year. The trades were made however the price was not sustained for any significant amount of time. There were a pretty small amount of bitcoin actually traded at these prices. |

I have a feeling you are correct on this being a signal.... a rally signal who knows but a signal. I am dumb founded not 1 single news place has wrote an article about this.. I watched the dogecoin price SSSSSKY rocket then all of a sudden go back to what it was 20 min ago and all data of the rise erased. Although as we all know.. you cannot erase something on the interwebz. |

Wow, looking at the chart on bitcoinwisdom makes me want to set high sells on all the fiat exchanges just in case this ever happens again
Yea, and low bids too. Especially on btc-e as i also remember it went down to 100$.. best guess its just some russian/bulgarian/wtvaeasterner rich dude drinking too much vodka and being a bit itchy sometimes. |
