Understanding there may be some hesitation in advertising with a completely new publication, we would like to make the following advertising opportunity available.

This is a chance to get in to the magazine early as we gain our readership and build momentum.

You can advertise in the upcoming release of the limited ads edition for only 10BTC for a half-page, full colour placement.

There are eight of these spots available. You can also purchase 1 full-page ad for 20BTC. If you are interested in having the 2-page centre-spread ad, please let me know and I will set this space aside. The back-cover is also available for 20BTC (This is not part of the eight spots).

Placement and payment must be received by April 24th.
Final artwork must be received by April 27th.
The limited ads edition will replace the "no-ads" edition on May 1st.

After the release of the limited ads edition on May 1st we will be making arrangements for Issue #1 which will be out in July. If we receive zero interest in advertising for this edition, then we will go ahead with distributing the "no-ads" edition and move forward with Issue #1.

You need to release reader dynamics, distribution statistics, advertising impact, etc.......

Few will pay you for ad space in a publication that has absolutely no distribution statistics or reader demographics or dynamics and advertising impact statements as they would be paying for the possibility that few, if any, would see their ads (tables and charts help to visualize this data as well).

here are some examples:

http://static.infowars.com/ads/mediakit_public.pdf
http://www.barronsmag.com/advertising/print/reader-profile
http://www.magazine.org/content/Files/ValueofReadership092006.pdf
http://www.smithsonianmag.com/advertising/reader-demographics.html

etc...

it could be simple or complex. The more complex, the more data, the better your chance of getting money out of people.

of course, you could always luck out and get people to pay you who know absolutely nothing about the above .... or simply dont care and wish to throw away their coins.

Thank you for the links and suggestions.

Here is a bit of information about who we are targeting:

- Computer users and tech savvy business operators
- 18-35
- Mostly male
- English speaking (Internationalization plans are still pending)

This advertising is for both the online and print editions.

Because we are still new, there is not as much data available as there would be for a more established publication.

As mentioned, this is an early opportunity to advertise in a landmark publication that will continue to expand and grow. Cool

Make a media kit and/or advertisers page.

Web editions also need their own unique statistics as well, as the stats come in. Total hits, unique visitors, where they come from, click throughs, turn-overs (affiliate/store), visit duration, page view duration, etc, etc...

I do not know how you will be deploying their ads, but I highly recommend trackable links that you control ... not direct links to their sites/services.

Of course automation would be the key to the ease in implimenting it all.

good luck .. souns like a great enterprise for bitcoin and our community.

2 spaces (1 ad) taken.
1 space pending.

This leaves 5 (maybe 6) spaces still available plus the back cover.
