Dear Satoshi. Your dox, passwords and IP addresses are being sold on the darknet. Apparently you didn't configure Tor properly and your IP leaked when you used your email account sometime in 2010. You are not safe. You need to get out of where you are as soon as possible before these people harm you. Thank you for inventing Bitcoin.

I am sort of confused, are we thinking that the same person compromised both of his accounts?   So the person who compromised his account, wrote a message to Satoshi from Satoshi's own account, or is that message to Satoshi from someone else?

Why on earth Satoshi will give a message to Satoshi himself ? Its crystal clear that the account is compromised.

If someone is selling his information, the person behind the p2pfoundation account could have only purchased the email credentials to warn him.

I personally think it is just someone spreading FUD about bitcoin. Even if satoshi's IP address was leaked, ISPs do not keep logs this long to be able to link his identity to his IP address.

Yes that part is obvious, but why would someone who compromised his account, send a message to himself either?

SourceForge.net Project Bitcoin is messed up as well => http://sourceforge.net/projects/bitcoin/

Now, the description of Bitcoin says Buttcoin is a peer-to-peer butt.

Anything associated with satoshin@gmx.com is going to be messed up.

To demonstrate that he has indeed control of the account.

Ya... but it would be very bad if this ID gets access to the Github repo for Bitcoin. If that gmx ID has access to the repo, that needs to be de-activated as quick as possible.

Only governments would be that determined to fuck everyone.

Shatoshi needs to watch he doesn't become a target for not filing capital gains taxes if he lives in the USA. The IRS would love the press attention on getting him.

Commits can be reverted, there is no permanent damage that can be done.

that's not how it works. he hasn't even touched his coins, so why would he have to pay taxes on them?

He would have to sell them and convert to fiat in order to have to claim long term capital gains (since he has held them for over a year).   Bitcoin is not like a traditional investment vehicle that pays dividends, nor does it issue you a 1099 at the end of the year for interest income.

if capital gainz has to be stolen paid on assets that appreciate regardless of weather they are liquidated then yes he would be in trouble.

but he could just say he lost the private keys.
