CoinoUSD (ticker XUSD) is a cryptocurrency tied to USD. Deposit and withdrawal to/from CoinoUSD are carried out at Coinomat.com for a range of different e-currencies and cryptocurrencies. It can also be withdrawn to any VISA/MASTER card.
- How can I use CoinoUSD?
- You can trade it against NXT on NXT AE
- You can trade it against BTC at Poloniex.com
- You can withdraw it at Coinomat.com to your bank card or bank account, or to several e-currencies and cryptocurrencies (PerfectMoney, Okpay, Bitcoin,Litecoin,NXT, peercoin).
- You can buy it at Coinomat.com and deposit it to Poloniex, and then buy some BTC for example.
Probably the most widespread usage would be withdrawing your BTC funds at Poloniex or NXT directly to your Visa/Master card.

Our ultimate goal is to provide USD transfer medium on blockchain, thus allowing fiat deposits to exchanges which don't have them, and the ability to transfer USD on blockchain in general. |

The Fiat <-> Crypto is still a bumpy road. This at least get's you the oportunity to convert BTC to USD (CoinoUSD) and back if your trading strategy requries it without haveing to give up your last bit of anonymity/identity.

I am working on making the HYP/XUSD market liquid, and we will be encouraging our users to cashout in XUSD if they want fiat. Thanks for the good work! |

We provide market making now there using automated orders. Now the volume should gradually grow to good values. On Polo it's trading now, the volume will grow. Right now it looks like xusd is sold out everywhere The market has been much better there thanks |

In Genesis block so to say, it's a centralized issue. The infrastructure is decentralized, market making is not. |

We started paying interest on CoinoUSD. The interest rate will be fixed at 0.5% monthly. The first interest payment has been processed. Future payments will be made only to accounts holding CoinoUSD asset at least for a month.
