What makes you think it is a config problem rather than a hardware issue? Did it work previously?

Well, it is a demo unit from someone I trust a good deal, so I take hit word that it was functional upon shipping.

The other sections show nothing of interest.  "Test Status"  is blank, and "statistics" just show it not hashing.

A blank test status IS of interest...
Controller doesn't see any boards.

Insightful. Shipping might have loosened connectors between hashing boards and controller, might be the PSU too. I would try to open it and tighten every power/data connectors in sight. If hardware issues were to be ruled out (although it seems suspect as quoted above), you may want to try to proxy the connection through a stratum proxy for debugging purpose (or even netcat to debug at TCP level). I assume you've tried other pools already? Using pool IP address instead of hostname would also rule out DNS problems (unlikely IMO).

suggested steps?
Make sure that dip switches are properly set and each board is daisy chained correctly.
Plug into the port on controller closest to Ethernet port.
Finally run that flashmega command.

Hi

I would test each hashing board indyvidually (only hashing cable to controller)
one faulty board can give results you have.

Please also use only hashing cable socket closest to ethernet socket.
Other ones does not work.

Maybe controller is faulty. I got same results with bad controller.
Controller PSU if is weak (amperage) can also not detect boards.

Good luck, man!

Just refollow the steps in my guide till you find the error rather than everyone spamming bits of the 20 steps.

you win.

Had to plug it into the port nearest the ethernet.

Shoot me an address.
