I hope you're not being uptight with the word 'rock' because my favorite band of all time is Nirvana To this day I haven't found any bands/singers that can rival Kurt's intensity. Honorable mention goes to Layne Staley though, that guy's voice on the AIC MTV unplugged is the best I've heard in rock, period.
