I put a small amount of money into this gambling/HYIP program to test the waters, and was not too surprised that it doesn't pay out, after all I have learned about how these ponzi/HYIP work.
What I am surprised about is that the thread on here, where the admin was previously answering questions, now appears to be locked - I can't reply to it.
I see that it is admin-moderated so obviously the admin has done this to stop people crying scam in the thread?
But how why has no one else flagged this up as a scam elsewhere? I browse a few other forums which specialize in HYIP talk, and no one seems to have bothered to warn other users that it isn't paying there, either.
Is it the case that sometimes these programs selectively pay out? (i.e other users are still getting paid, just not me) - is that how these programs work?

I notice that the payment counter on the site has started moving again - if it turns out I do receive a payment (and the admin makes the thread readable again) I will delete this thread as I guess it was just a minor delay.

Ok, as others have confirmed this I have edited the thread title to include the word SCAM as that is clearly what is going on now. Should I post this in the scam warnings thread as well? Or is it not allowed to duplicate? A mod could move it, if this is the case.

It's great you took the time to warn others of these rip-off programs.

Of course it's a scam.  Why is anyone putting more than .01 into something like this?

How is the program in your sig (cryptominer) working out for your Haslett?
This (BTCGains) is the first HYIP I have been burnt on - only by a small amount luckily.
Most other schemes I have tried out so far have paid as promised, guess I have been lucky to get this far without getting scammed!

If you knowingly invest in a ponzi scheme I don't think you're really allowed shout scam. Ponzi schemes can only operate by continuously scamming people. This is obvious.

I don't agree with this. It doesn't identify itself as a ponzi, as many sites do. So pointing it out seems legit to me. And on top of that I am a firm believer in free speech, so do not pay too much attention to what others tell me I am "allowed" to shout Smiley

This I do agree with.
A couple of weeks ago I decided to put aside $250 of disposable money (that I would just have frittered away on beer or eating out) to play around with ponzis.
So far I have invested $200, have made withdrawn returns of around $70, I have around $180 still sitting in various programs which seem to be paying out(though I haven't tested withdrawals on them all yet) and have written off $50 as scam losses ( to BTCgains).

Anyone who isn't greedy will figure out "HYIP" = "Ponzi". It's a shame these scammers exist, but the whole idea behind these schemes is you are screwing over the people who sign up after you. No sympathy.

Here's the proof  Cry
I tried the 465pc plan, thinking it was daily repayment.
https://blockchain.info/tx/522b45129f704a5b11d6445ffe51ee1821040e892874220be3b78b1522a89167

I realized that it was a single pay which shouted SCAM. So, i contacted the admin, he seemed nice, even returned the funds so i could send it to the correct plan address.
https://blockchain.info/tx/4d13097c51ade9ab0bf32ea08b1bfa3add897932a44733721f6f329caaa66030

He seemed nice, and helpful. And given he didn't run off with my funds in the first place, i decided to 'invest' more.

God damn my blighted sight. Really wish i had those funds back though  Undecided
