Friends, I want to know how to start a bitcoin dice site which would be provably fair, have investment options and other new and innovative features, what would approximately be the minimum investment, and all that related stuff.
Any comments on this are greatly appreciated.

Many free dice scripts you will find here, but most of them with backdoor or something. Look around, development or marketplace.

I would just have one made. Nothing is free! But tons of honest people willing to do good work quite cheap for BTC.

It requires maintenance. So, if u dont know how to code, its better u stay out of it. It is highly possible that the developer will manipulate the code to make money and u'll b at the gunpoint. An e-commerce site is a better option for non-coders.

If you want success and have ideas i would suggest you to hire a programmer to make you custom script, of course this wiĺ cost you but if you are starting a dice site you must have starting capital for it.

good programmers you can trust (don't buy scripts as they are all crap)
$150,000 min to start, no one will play unless you don't have bankroll to start

If you want to be unique and successful it's always wise to hire someone like a programmer who can help you create your own script and work with you to bring a dice site. Using a free script is OK but it means it's not as unique.

Do you have the ability to code the site yourself? Do you have the time to manage the site? Do you have the money for development, advertising and supporting the bankroll?

Check out marketplace for dice scripts or make one by yourself. But you have to remember that you'll need some money to invest in the site

It's quite a gamble (no pun intended) to use a cheap or even free code to run you dice-site! You really have to be sure everything actually is safe! Also, you need quite a number of Bitcoinsl IIRC, about 200x of the maximum payout you want to offer. Meaning if you want to offer a maximum payout of 1 BTC, you need a bankroll of at least 200 BTC.

Start a Dice site is not easy. At first you need to take some decisions. 1.-Will the game be onchine? (Satoshi bones vs prime dice) 2.-You need to configure bluckchain on your server to deposits and withdraws. 3.-To understand the provably fair sistem, you need to learn about sha256 and some cripto tips. The good think is you can get opensource codes for dice sites: https://github.com/felinegambler/BitcoinDicehttps://github.com/sgornick/satoshidiceAnd the final fact is the investment you have the capital to open a site like that?

Pay a coder to code something original for you, if you copy at this point you'll not get too far imo, lots of competition unless you really innovate and make it worth it for a person to use your site and not the leading ones.

The BitcoinDice script ( https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=750572.0) looks very familiar and I remember seeing a few dice sites use it. But AFAIK those sites didn't get any success.
