Not sure what you mean. I'd just like to have a conversation or debate as to which Cryptocurrency is more anonymous. For fun I'll add Bitcoindark and Zerocoin/Anoncoin into the mix also.
I know a lot of people are high on Monero, but honestly they all look like shills to me by creating so many threads and spamming this subforum with pro-Monero propaganda soaked in arrogance. It doesn't help that all of their threads are self moderated either. It is no surprise to me that the past few days the trolls have been lashing out at the Monero folk... I can somewhat relate to the way they feel about them.
So, let's get the Monero folk out of the self moderated threads and here debating the technicalities of which cryptocurrency is (or will be) the most anonymous. That being said, I'd like to put all that Monero BS drama aside and talk about cryptocurrencies that have implemented anonymous features and which one(s) are the most anonymous.
Well, I vote Monero. Here's why:
A long time ago, when there were less than a dozen alts, I thought about what would make an alt-coin have real long-term value. The only concrete thing I could come up with, which bitcoin would probably NOT incorporate natively at some point, was full native privacy. So, a year or two later when the Zerocoin paper was announced, I thought that the eventual implementation of ZC in an alt would represent the first truly interesting alt-coin.
Then, while we were all waiting for Zerocoin, CryptoNote came along out of nowhere. Ring signatures offer distributed privacy, on proven cryptographic techniques, without the layered/quasi-centralized messy approaches of other coins that were more or less appending half-baked methodologies to a bitcoin-based codebase. So CryptoNote was interesting. Monero is the first fair-enough launch of a CryptoNote coin, which makes it the best privacy coin, and the one of the only actually interesting alt-coins at all.
First to the party with a "good enough" solution usually wins in high-network-effect domains, so that's sufficient for me to declare Monero the likely* winner.
* Note: "likely" != "definite"
