Yes carding is currently a big problem with our community.
It is important to trust a source before you begin any sort of business engagement.
Also it just goes to show the need for public awareness of the bitcoin so these types of unfortunate incidences can be prevented.

He will be back claiming he did nothing wrong, but according to moderators here i am a 'fucking retard' because i insisted they give him a tag or a straight ban.
Dont trust people selling these rounded value cards ($50,$100,$500 etc) if they have only a few weeks rep, you are making it too easy for them

He will be back claiming he did nothing wrong, but according to BadBear i am a 'fucking retard' because I think he should've been banned a month ago when he hadn't done anything wrong. I also think BadBear should personally step up and lead an investigation into Newdude ripping off Best Buy, using his moderator badge and a warrant from bitcointalk.org.
I just don't understand why we can't just ban people for undercutting me and selling cards cheaper than I do.
Fixed your quote for you.

This seems to be the new trend:
1. New account just out of Newbie jail selling gift cards. 2. Older accounts with very low post counts selling gift cards.

Make sure you use the Bitcoin-OTC... It is a Web of Trust for rating people after their transactions... Scammers very quickly get called out, and get negative ratings. I’ve done many, many, trades, providing you do due-diligence in checking the trading history, before putting yourself at risk. If you receive bitcoins you are generally not at risk... If you are sending bitcoins you are at risk from scammers. If you keep a level head, check before putting yourself at risk… use trusted 3rd parties as escrows, and overall don’t do anything too stupid… The life of a scammer will become quite unprofitable.

Still wondering if there's any proof of these codes being carded, or if he simply gave out an already-used code to the OP.
(Still a problem either way, obviously...)
