I'm not some scammer, just looking to buy in for use on a sportsbook. The sportsbook i was using (betus) kicked me out for winning too much. I won a lot more than i lost and I'm assuming they dont like losing money

WU is pretty much irreversible and if you collect the cash before releasing the coins well fraud is simply impossible. Once the receiver walks away from the WU counter with cash kinda hard for a "scammer" to undo that. I would do it but a) I don't like tx of $10K due to KYC reporting requirements and b) that is outside my liquidity level.

Right now ... $0.00. I just cleaned by exchange account to pay some large bills. My BTC holdings are ~4 coins. Just thought I would point out to potential sellers that WU is pretty safe assuming: a) buyers sends first b) seller COLLECTS funds before transferring the coins. Both payment methods are irreversible but the "6-confirm" equivalent in WU is physically collecting the cash. WU tx can be reversed if not collected.

Hopefully someone else could help me out with this soon then. Thanks a lot for clearing up the whole risk thing! I do plan on sending first and allowing them to pickup the cash before I receive bitcoins, provided their reputation is in order.

I don't really want to pay a whole bunch of WU fees, so I would like to keep it to a few large transactions if possible.

I use WU all the time. It's not as scary as everyone makes it seem. Once you have the cash, its yours.
most I could offer is 250BTC, probably not enough for you.

WU fees are dynamic (around 5%). So 100 tranfers don't more than 10.

I'm not some scammer, just looking to buy in for use on a sportsbook. "oops, did i say that out loud?" since any amount over $1k per day can only be done by a registered money service business and that business needs to "know its customer", you just eliminated about 98% of the people that could or would help you by doing that.

If someone is still interested in buying BTC through western union using the method in post #7 I am prepared to sell up to about $15,000 USD worth. We will have to agree on the rate.
