Very happy to share with you that this is probably the best investment I've made so far.

Two weeks ago I ordered 10 BEAM 2U's from Advanced Mining Technologies. 11.000 ghs in total!

Everything was shipped within two days. Got my order in less than a week. Now I've been running the machines for a week.
I received instructions by mail. Managed to set everything up myself. There were no missing parts - screws, PSU, everything was on its place. The packaging was fine. The machines are solid.

Here's some info about one BEAM 2U:
hashrate: 200-214ghs per unit, gets up to 1100ghs per full set
power consumption: ~0.9J/gh
standard rack mount 2u server casing size, weights 7.2kgs

I wanted to wait and see how everything works. Been reading lots of sceptical posts, but I'm happy I placed an order with them.

The grue lurks in the darkest places of the earth. Its favorite diet is adventurers, but its insatiable appetite is tempered by its fear of light. No grue has ever been seen by the light of day, and few have survived its fearsome jaws to tell the tale.

Looked at their website man. These miners look good and are promising. Can you share more info?
What's the interface language, where do you store them?

Yeah, figured you won't be placing 10 beasts in your kitchen. However, I'm subscribing for more info.
How was the customer service?

To be honest, I was pleasantly surprised. When I called them, a nice lady picked up the phone and answered all my dumb questions.
When I received my order, they called me again to ask me was everything fine with my miners etc and sent me setup instructions by email.

Counting on that lol! But the way the miners are hashing now, it wont take too long to return my investment. My hope is for the price of BTC to rise up soon!

Well yeah. Now I only need to figure out an alternative electricity option, to cut the expenses even more and speed up the ROI process.

Sure it does lol. Do you consider investing in more mining hardware once you get back the investment in BTC?

Maybe, im still figuring the whole thing out as I have no experience with hardware maintenance. If everything goes well with these 10 miners, I will probably buy 10 more.

Also if the financial environment around BTC allows it and is profitable. Im also considering cloud mining, but for now Ill stay focused on the 10 BEAM 2Us in my bacement Wink

Cloud hashing is a great deal now. I am thinking of investing in it myself. Keep us posted how the miners perform.

Absolutely. I've seen so many comments here, and non of them is talking about the quality of the machines. Which turned out to be more than great for the price I got them for!

You have ten of these things hashing away.  In you basement?  You've got 10-11kW of usable power in your basement?  What about cooling?  I mean, I realize you said you're in Colorado, but it isn't that cold there yet Wink.

Congrats on your purchase, and I hope the positive ROI gods smile down favorably upon you.

Jonny's Pool - Mine with us and help us grow!  Support a pool that supports Bitcoin, not a hardware manufacturer's pockets!  No SPV cheats.  No empty blocks.
