I think he's saying that marketing gets you the big bang short term even in the absence of good tech, but that long term the product lacking in adequate and appropriate technology for what it purports to do will eventually go to zero no matter how much, or how great the marketing is; even if the mainstream hasn't a clue and buys in unwittingly . . . sooner or later they get bit.

i agree completely, right now there is a mess between good marketing and scam behind it or simply just bad tech, the good ones will last and steady rise. only the pros are able to understand whats good right now, so im trying to listen and learn

How do the old coins & addresses get into the new chain?

If your coins are left on Bittrex, cryptopia, Bleutrade or Altex they will autochange them for you, as we will provide the X11 MUE to those exchanges (AVOID YOBIT AT ALL COSTS)

If you don't want to do that, we already have a coin swap system in place for when we migrate, where you register, send you Quark MUE, provide your X11 MUE address, and the system sends the X11 MUE back to you.

It's really easy basically.

Congrats to everyone for the price explosion. I had a ladder of sell prices in place - and they ALL got hit.  But the height of this crazy peak was hard to predict. Could have gotten 3 times as much, what a pity.  But any plus is always good, so let's be modest.


Now I am going to try to find my off-exchange coins. I think I have wallet.dat files somewhere ...
... I just download a wallet software, and the blockchain from https://muex.io/Bootstrap and then I sync those wallet.dat files, and send the coins to an exchange - correct?

How much are your earnings at the new pool, guys? Same, more, less?

More than the other pools currently but less than weminemue, i think that may be because difficulty is rising. I used to be able to get almost 1000 mue per day with a Baikal mini. Now I'm getting between 300-400...


Perhaps someone with more experience than me can comment on why my Baikal is generating less at this new pool than it used to at weminemue.....thanks everyone!!!

Diff has roughly doubled since the doubling in price from the ~600 SAT area to the ~1200 zone, so a 50% reduction in mining rewards is completely normal and to be expected.

Don't forget about e-pool ( http://p2pool.e-pool.net:5856/static/ ). It works quite nice, it's run by professionals, and there's only a 0.25% fee. Remember that it is a PPLNS pool (which discourages pool hopping) and that you need to wait for several blocks to be found before your rewards reach the level they would immediately be on a PPS pool, and it's not like you lose anything since you keep receiving rewards for a while after leaving even when you're no longer mining, so it all comes out in the wash.

Thanks, but I was getting a huge amount of rejected shares at this pool... I tried so many different settings but couldn't seem to fix the issue
