Just unzip in the same folder as your wallet like linux /user/.monetaryunit/ and start the wallet much faster than using the bootstrap.

We're solidifying the ideas now for when MUE migrates.
The plan will be aiming for a coin swap end date of 40 days from now which ties in with a coin supply of 100 million MUE (give or take a little).

So, if you want to be part of this then watch all the usual channels for updates in the coming days.

Just a heads up though, X11, Dash clone, and if you want some of the solo masternode action, make sure you have 1 million MUE to pay for it
"shared" options in masternodes will also be offered of course.

Now is a good time to buy, we fully intend in making huge progress with this project over the next 12 months & wisely investing the development fund in further growth

We'll keep people updated through the usual channels.

To maintain the stability and security of the network, after a community poll (here), we have decided to migrate MonetaryUnit to a new code base.

The benefits are many, including but not limited to:

More stable code
Easier to mine
More secure
Greater features
Continued development
Accessible to more pools
Attractive to investors
More accessible to new comers
Robust systems & more scaleable
Sustainable financial infrastructure
Multiple revenue streams
This is a big decision and is taken purely for the long term sustainable success of this project.

We cannot “do nothing”.
We are using old code which is no longer maintained, and therefore we must act now in a sensible time frame, rather than rush at the last minute when we are forced to act.

More updates will be coming soon.  The target date is about 40 days from now, and specifically once we have reached a total coin supply of 100 Million MUE.

We will be offering an automated coin swap service.  You will submit your current MUE & we will replace it with the new MUE.

Of course. I think that is why the price is increasing as people would like to have a million MUE at cheap prices to be able to run masternodes. Turns out that MUE might be much more valuable once the new algo and masternodes feature comes out. I can't imagine that MUE will be worth $0.01 USD and above! Just my opinion.
