A coin named C-Note was launched on Bitcoin talk on January 8th, 2014.
The price of a C-Note reached previous all-time high of 0.00001367 BTC.
The original devs seem to have abandoned the project.
The original published settings of c-note.conf do not work. The coin lost all nodes.
The new conf file is listed below. And the NEW wallet has higher transactions.
I restored the node network and original blockchain.
This is a NEW bitcoin talk thread. Goal to save this coin.
Maybe the community can come together to save C-Note.

I still have some that I mined last year. Good luck. Since this is Quark algo it should be easy to mine with GPU now.

Any plans for marketing/promotion? How do you plan to get this one going again? Restoring the nodes and network is usually not enough.

Block explorer with a rich list would be the first thing we need. No investors before that.

First step to rebuilding the community. If no community no value the coin.
8 active connection now. This is very big thing because this coin almost dead. I want see the community exist or not. If next days/weeks i will see the increment number of connections then it means community live.
If community live then i will invest lot of efforts. I'm software developer.  English is not my native language. I need lot of contibutors to helping the marketing and communication. This coin pump and dump is over. The original devs ( and lot of users ) have abandoned the project. My goal to rebuilding developer team and community. I not want create one new shit money. I want repair one old shit coin. ;-)

See above. C-Note have good properties like existing fans, immediatly usable exchange site and many more. I see the future of this coin.

If you want gain this coin then have two easy way. Buying or mining. This is not a new money. I ( or you ) don't have lot of these coins. No premined X percent to faucents or bounties or giveaways. Something real goal be needed like how to spend this coins. If this coin is spendable then value will increasing. If value increased then lot of miners want mining and lot of investors want buy this.

Yes. Everything work fine. Network is stable. Exchange price and volume growing up. Some months later c-note will be better than ever before. I have plan to shortly reviewing code of c-note and build one new version.

I looked history of this coin before started this project. I kept the original blockchain ( and original code ). I don't collecting money. Mining is very fair and transparent now. If you an old investor ( or dumped coin owner ) in then your goal to keep it alive C-note. I will invest lot of efforts in the future and try rebuild community. This is an experiment. If succeed then all old investors will be happy. ;-)
