U.S. to Monitor Canadian Border for Illicit Drug-Related Bitcoin Transactions

It would be smart for the US government to monitor it's border for potential illegal activity. This is not the right, but rather the responsibility of a sovereign nation to make sure that nothing in crossing into it's boarders that should not be entering into the country.

I am not sure exactly how they plan on monitoring bitcoin transactions like this. Although it is, in theory possible to determine the country of the person sending a TX, it is impossible to determine the country of the person receiving, especially if the address being sent to has never been used
