Hello guys,

today I want to talk to you about Zerocoin and Anoncoin.
Some of you might not know that Anoncoin is in the progress of implementing the Zerocoin innovation.

Zerocoin:
Basically Zerocoin is a technology for anonymity in the Crypto-Sphere. Others would be "CoinJoin" (Used by Darkcoin) or "CoinSwap". However these technologies or "approaches" are all different in a certain way. Whereas Zerocoin is as of now one of the most thought out and secure options.

Zerocoin was "invented" many months ago and the developers abandoned the idea of making an Altcoin out of it. Instead they develop on something what is called "Zerocash". However Zerocash also has its disadvantages over Zerocoin to be seen here:
https://wiki.anoncoin.net/Zerocash

The Anoncoin Dev Team has the expertise to implement it for anonymity within the network, which would make Anoncoin or zAnoncoin one of the most anonymous Coins on the market.
The progress is coming along quite well. By tomorrow we will receive more updates by one of the developers for the implementation "gnosis". He is by now working full time on it.
Please visit the bitcointalk thread for more updates plus the PrivacySolutions Blog which is the place to go for official updates.

I'm always on the search for more and better anonymous approaches. By now I believe ANC has the best shot, because the technology is just better than CoinJoin.  I am also curious about Zerocash and looking forward to other techs.

It is impossible to trust zerocoin, because the developer have to create a kind of password and we have to trust him to destroy this, if he keep a copy of it he can create unlimited anoncoins. Therefore I will never be able to fully trust anoncoin.

Ring signatures are the future. Take a look at Monero.

Well, monero is a great coin and the anonymity is already applied to it.

Luckily you monero dev is working with together with the anoncoin dev on privacysolutions.no. A nice little alliance isn't it?

Back to the technology ... the system is going to be a trustless system. I'm not aware that the developer needs to create a certain key that he needs to delete.

In my view the technology being used right now are great and very useful - but ZC is another level. After that Zerocash is going to be another level... and after that we don't know.

That is like saying 'Scrypt is the future'. Take a look at Xivra.

How about you take a look at the coin Monero is a clone of - Bytecoin.  Wink

Ring signatures are the future. Take a look at Monero.

Anoncoin is using RSA-UFOs (RSA of unknown factorization). This will allow a completely trustless setup. People have been contributing cpu cores to this project for more than two months. The results are scheduled to be released tomorrow.
