MineralsPR What about inappropriate adds?
What if somebody puts an add up with child porn or nuclear bombs for sale. How will you counter this?

He's not the police. The police have to deal with this issue.

Let's hear what people are guessing the final ICO price will be. My guess is 850 sat. Anyone else wanna play? Almost tempted to make a poll on Betmoose.
I'm going with 1500 SAT. I expect a lot of last minute buying which should drive the final price up. The problem with every ICO/IPO is that the dev can buy their own coins. No one can stop it. It even happens on the largest stock markets. I'm hoping the "devs" or the "devs" friends don't have enough BTC to buy out all 1000 BTC of the ICO on the last day. The product looks great. Way better than any other coin. My guess is that this coin will sell out and short term the coin will be selling for cheaper than ICO price. If the devs stick with this coin it could be a $500,000,000 marketcap coin and we would all be looking at a 100,000% increase on the investment it may only sell cheaper if some pump and dump groups will arrange a coordinated fud attack on craigscoin right when the trading is available to shake out some cheap coins. If they decide that ICO price is too cheap (it is pretty cheap as of now) they will just accumulate coins during the end of ICO and then start to pump. Also depends on dev, what updates he'll be able to deliver during that time. Very hard to predict what will happen. Anyways it would be smart to buy some coins during ICO if you feel the price is cheap I'm sure I will be able to stop this sort of FUD attack simply by deleting FUD posts. That won't work, people quote the FUD and it just spreads. You have a good idea here; if you execute it could be huge. This means a mass troll attack from the moment trading starts. Jealous coin communities will attack, whales after cheap coins will attack, random idiots will attack. You are going to take major hits for "violation of the Craigslist trademark". If you delete posts you are "hiding things". You were involved in the Minerals coin. Any little thing that went wrong there will be used to prove you are a "scammer". If you don't have people answering questions on BCT 24/7 you will have "abandoned the community". The best way is to let the FUD fly, take some loss from weak hands and then dominate by execution and leave the trolls in the dust. Reach out to the big Twitter guys (IconicExpert, etc.) Wet their beaks and they'll say happy things on Twitter. If your coin is BTC level they won't dump.

Current development: 1. Brand new Ad posting design, that adds many possible filtering criteria for user Ads (it is already released, 2 days for testing); 2. Website that is parsing the blockchain Ads listing and filtering possibility (by the end of Sep 28 week); 3. API for parsing the blockchain ads for any third-party developers (by the end of Sep 28 week); 4. Image parser (your images will be displayed in the walltet) (by the end of first week of October); 5. Blockchain partial download – in order to avoid bloated blockchain being downloaded by every single node only blocks higher than certain threshold will be downloaded; 6. Digital auction house – addition an auction feature within posted ads. Each bidder with send coins to her designated address, and only the funds of the winning bidder will be locked in. These funds will be exchanged for the purchased goods/service between the winner and the seller simultaneously.

Tally Ho! I see signs of the first troll of the season! Check my post history, I am no fudder. Its a genuine question that I would like to understand how this situation will be handled. Dont you think questions should be asked? Or should we all just post rocket pics and talk about moon all the time.

After months of Troll War I tend to shoot on sight without looking at the situation. He has to worry more about political stuff. He is in Moscow supposedly. If someone starts posting anti-Putin diatribes, gay stuff, pro-Ukraine stuff etc. he might get a midnight visit from some new friends who don't want to understand about P2P networks, etc. The guy really really needs a kill switch for bad content.

Cloak (before their shitstorm) were going to have a jury type system where the adds would go to 10 or so random volunteer nodes for approval. If a node disproved of the add but the majority approved of the add then the add would get uploaded. And anyone who disproved would be charged a small fee. All people who approved the add would be paid a small fee for their effort. Now if the majority disproved of the add then only those who disproved would be paid the fee and those that approved a unpopular add would pay the fee. This way the community can decide what adds are shown. So for example we we could be ok with people selling pot but not bombs.

It wouldn't be easy, but it seems to be the only workable solution I can think of. Other than that you would need a centralized service to approve the adds or not.
