BTC dies every year... It is reborn every year too, bigger and better than the last. To be honest now is not a bad time to be holding BTC, it's a perfect time to jump in, the price ALWAYS goes up in either November or December

Bitcoin isn't an "Investment" so don't expect to profit.

It sure is actually. Just liking any other currency. Over the long term bitcoin's expected value should increase. However due to unknown things happening this isn't always the case.

Erm YES it is! 'An asset or item that is purchased with the hope that it will generate income or appreciate in the future. In an economic sense, an investment is the purchase of goods that are not consumed today but are used in the future to create wealth. In finance, an investment is a monetary asset purchased with the idea that the asset will provide income in the future or appreciate and be sold at a higher price'.

Yup lol, there are people keep saying bitcoin is going to die again and again. Not sure if we will see a new rally this Nov, as in last Nov though.

Never a bad time to buy if you truly believe in the currency and hold through the dips and crashes.

It's very subjective. Do some research, watch some docs to get an idea of it if that helps, and invest when you feel comfortable with you knowledge.

Difficult to say. Looking back when this thread was new, you could easily have waited for $280 Bitcoins, we're even now lower that when this thread was started. I often think about how - at some point - we'll never see prices this low again. Or maybe $368 ever again...

In my opinion it's just matter of time when we will see $1000 per 1BTC again. I hope it will happen in first half of 2015.

If you buy a small amount each week you really cant go wrong historically, this year would have been a bad year for most. The price right now is lowish.

Yeah, that's a nice strategy in my books, as well! If you really stick to that principle, you won't lose trying to day-trade or catch a falling knife, like a lot of people try these days! Even this year's all time high could be considered very cheap coins in a couple of years!

Trading is a very risky business if you don't know technical analisys, you should only buy your bitcoins and hold them long term.
haha yeah like I always lost in trading, because I never analyze the coin first, I only saw the coin being dropped below 20%, then I buy it and wait up back hihi
